• (folk band) An energetic folk band, founded by Milan Robberechts (piano), completed by Laris D’hose (bass guitar), Marieke D’hose (accordion), Laurens Maris (percussion), and Arno Molenschot (tenor saxophone). “Will you join the dancing at Boombal on January 31st? Of course, Warmoes is playing!”

Warmoes is an up-and-coming instrumental folk band with roots in the picturesque Gooik. In 2021, the seeds of Milan’s first folk tune were sown, which he and his bandmates nurtured into a young and accomplished band. They season their music with influences from jazz, pop, and funk, their specific taste characterized by the piano as the main ingredient. Be ready to hear a wide assortment of dance music, ranging from sweet mazurkas and waltzes to peppered bourrées. The music is permeated by an energy that would get even the stiffest houseplant moving along.
